GARS MeetingThe next meeting will be on Friday April 14, 2006  ( Not for sure were it will be.) at the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Hwy 180 East behind the Burger King in Silver City, NM  All members and guest are invited to attend. Meeting at 7:00 PM.

 

MONTHLY PRESENTATION:

GARS Breakfast: Everyone is invited to the monthly breakfast to be held in Silver City, N.M on the Fourth Saturday of the month at 8:30am, talk in on146.98 repeater. . Listen to the Sunday evening 2 meter net on 146.98 (-) for the latest details or read the current month's QRL.

VE ExamExams are scheduled as needed. All exams are at 9 am in Room 119 in Harlan Hall on the campus of Western New Mexico University. Harlan Hall is located on the corner of 12th and Alabama streets in Silver City. Exams for all classes of licenses will be given. Parties interested in obtaining a license or upgrading need to bring photo identification. Those parties with a license or CSCE need to bring the original and one photocopy. There will be a fee of $12.00 per test session. Inquiries about the exam can be e-mail to one of the officers

WEDNESDAYS: Mesilla Valley Radio Club Net on 146.64 (PL 100), 6:45pm

THURSDAYS: Come talk to the “Voice of Deming”, Paul (KW7D). Net on 146.82. 7:30 pm

ARES & RACES HF NET: Every First and Third Sunday of the month at 0130 UTC on 3939 kHz.
