2002-2004
Models without rubber boot
1.
To remove mirror, remove (2) stock 6mm
bolts.
2.
Install longer 6mm bolts supplied into mirror assembly where stock bolts
had been.
3.
Install mirror extender and the rubber spacer onto the mirror in the same
order.
4.
Install the mirror assembly on the fairing and tighten the (2) 6mm bolts
provided. Bolts should be tightened to stock specs.
1999-2001
Models
1.
Remove the 2 nuts on
the inside of the fairing that hold the mirror in place.
2.
Remove the mirror and add (2) small aluminum spacers to the studs on each
mirror with the small shoulder pointed away from the mirror.
3.
Slide the mirror extender in place, over the studs.
4.
Install the mirror assembly on the fairing and add the 6mm bolts
provided, from the inside of the fairing and tighten.
5.
Repeat for the other mirror.
Please, read the instructions all the way through at least twice.
