This thunderegg was an attempt at an 'egg-within-an-egg. The inner pocket is unusual, with a nice drusy quartz pocket with a horizontal opal floor suspended in a thick band of quartz. The white above the pocket is unaltered rhyolite. The fractures are 'healed' (naturally re-silicified).
