
Marinated Vegetables
Ingredients:
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) vegetable broth
1 Tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 cups cauliflowerets (about 1 small head)
1 1/2 cups green beans cut in 1-inch pieces
2 medium carrots, sliced (about 1 cup)
1/4 cup vinegar
2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation:
In saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients; add vegetables.
Cover; heat to boiling. Stirring. Cook 1 minute. Add vinegar and parsley.
Spoon into dish. Cover; chill 12 hours before serving.
