The
Buttons in Zelda64
The button system
in Zelda64 will be the most advanced to date. Bellow are a list of
what what the buttons do in Zelda64. I have gathered this rare information
from all over the internet.
The
A button
(Example)
The
A button is the soul button of the combat system. What you are using
for A will be in the blue cricle at the top-right of your screen when you
play. (Example)
Pressing A once will make Link draw his sword (in his left hand).
Now, if you press it again, Link will do a regular slash. If you
press it 3 times, the blade will slash from bottom to top. If you
press A and the action button, Link will slash from top
to bottom. This is very important in Zelda64. Turn the anglong
stick in a circle and Link will swing his sword over his head once.
Kind of like a helicopter. If you hold A down and let your sword
charge up, just like in the old SNES version, Link's sword will start to
glow. When the glow reaches it's full capasity you will hear a little
Du-Dup! sound. When you hear this sound let go of the A button and
link will do a very powerful swing over his head. And there will
be little blus sparks following your sword. Vary cool : )
As far I'm concerned, Zelda64
will be first game to take full advantage of a 3D world. Games like
Tekken and the sort are 3D and have 3D characters, but you never fight
in 3D. You always fight in the old Mortal Kombat style. Sure
you may hit them into the 3D, but in dosen't make a big differance.
And in the old SNES Zelda, all you has to do was get in front of the monster
and wait for it to get hi by your sword. But in Zelda64, some monsters
can only be killed in a certain way. And that certain way can only
be done in 3D. Like the Skeletons in Zelda64. Some of them
cant only be killed if you hit them in the back. And to do that you
have to hold Z and press B. That'll make you do a back flip, and
if you do it right you'll land behind the skeleton and have a clear shot
at his back. When Zelda64 come out expect a radical new playing style.
And I know that as soon as all of the other companies see what Shigeru
Miyamoto has done with the game, the'll all try to mimic it. "You
have my word".
