According to my records Ann Ransom b. 1710 married John Boswell in 1728. John died in 1740/41 and left her with six small children.
In 1742 she married William Gatewood in Spotsylvania County. To this union were born three children: Austin, Ambrose and William Jr.
Ann's parents were Peter and Doroty Horth of Ware Point in Gloucester.
Ann and William later moved to Amerherst County, Virginia. She died around 1785 I think. Hope this may help.

Spotsylvania Co va. Records by Crozier has Deeds from 1734- 1763. Which mention both Boswell  and Gatewood folks. One of which ------
