We don't know if this is the father of our Emma Betty, but this man's wife's name is Emma B. (and daughters were often named for moms), and this family does live in MN which is next door to Michigan; further, the last name and dates are right, so there's a real possibility here, but nothing concrete yet.

Hi John,
 
My name is Sam Benson.  I am doing family research on my mother's side and have hit a road block.
 
My mother's maiden name was Betty Jean Gwin,  b. 9/17/1938 in Muskegon, Mi.  Her first marriage was to Samuel B. Lunsford, Second Marriage to David O. Benson.

Her Mother's Name was Emma Betty Schock.

Her Father's Name was Al ?? Gwin (my mother had stated he was called Al).  Not sure if that was his full name.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
