John Gwin's Personal Collection--at least, most of it.You see, the old Apple IIGS  on which I have my  nibs database has not been feeling well since March 1998, and, frankly, I haven't been able to add  anything to the database, even though my collection has grown considerably in  the several months since then.

The following list of vintage steel pens (aka nibs, points, tips, etc.), then, comprises those singletons and doubletons of my personal collection that are not for sale or trade, including the first two of each nib in my list of tradables, as of March 1998.

This list was built by transferring data from another computer's (the busted one's) database to its word processor, then translating that document to this computer, thus the list's non-columnar format.   I cleaned up the first few lines to show you how it should look, but after that, you're on your own!

The fields shown are as follows: first is my code for the maker/company name; next is the company name as it appears on the nib; third is the nib name as it appears; fourth is the nib number; and finally is the color

This list is presented to collectors and other interested parties for the purposes of research; it is also for traders for the purpose of their knowing what nibs I do not have (i.e., as of March 1998) and, therefore, might accept in trade.   Please contact me at JMcDGwin@zianet.com for further information.   You may also write to me via snail mail at 1845 Anderson Drive, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001 U.S.A.   I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!

I've started a page of notes on my nibs; access that page here.

Sincerely, in Jesus,

John M. Gwin
