With more than 20 years of experience in various types of color and black and white photography, Doug Karn has taken photos for portraiture, commerical, sports, fashion, and still-life.
His vast experience has taken him from the California shores, photographing the rich and famous, to the beaches of Florida in the hub of the fashion industry where he photographed some of the most glamorous models in the business along with other celebrities like Donald Trump and Philip Michael Thomas from Miami Vice (to name a few).
Leaving the hustle and bustle of a frenzied life behind, Karn moved to the wide open spaces of New Mexico where he could ride his Harley and participate in local activities without the large-city stress. Eight years ago, he purchased the prestigious Amador Studio.
Karn received his training in Pittsburgh where he studied all types of photography. He is a fun-loving artist who enjoys making the photographic experience enjoyable for all ages.
