§         Implemented design and responsible for server administration of College of Education Novell Netware 5.1 enterprise fileserver and web server.

§         Developing web-based design, tools and interface for college NCATE accreditation visit.

§         Participated in New Mexico State Board of Education technology review panel.

Program Coordinator II- TechShare Grant

§         Responsible for the development of instructional modules incorporating technology and multi-media components for the TechShare Grant.

§         Developed design standards for a collection of instructional components burned to a multi-formatted compact disk, re-writable disk using Sony HotBurn technologies.

 

1993-1999       White Sands School   Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS)

Certified Teacher- Secondary Mathematics

§         Taught multi-level math instruction for 7th and 8th graders including pre-algebra, honors algebra I, honors algebra II and honors geometry.

§         Successfully piloted two mathematics curriculum units increasing student scores in problem solving and in computational skills.

§         Developed and coordinated a building math educators’ network wherein collegiality and instructional plans for whole building instructional transition could develop.

§         Awarded an Action Research Grant focusing on the development of 8th grade mentors working with 2nd grade math and science activities.

§         Active member of NMCTM.  Served as Regional Representative, State Secretary and Membership Chairman.

§         Nominated by colleagues for Teacher of the Year in 1995.

Building Technologist

§         Developed a school instructional lab protocol for the Macintosh Lab.

§         Designed Macintosh computer literacy instructional components.

§         Developed intra-building network of teacher mentors to facilitate troubleshooting and applications assimilation.

§         Designed, developed and implemented technology bond proposals, and a digitized student handbook for the building.

§         Learned and implemented procedures for successful building wiring using 10based T and RJ45 connections in all wings except the Primary wing.

§         Learned and managed Novell Intranetware 4.11 NDS protocols using TCP/IP.

§         Developed and managed the building Website utilizing ftp capabilities of server permissions.

§         Completed requirements for the LCPS Technology Academy (1999.)

§         Coordinated Volunteer recruitment, training and recognition programs.

§         Instructor Trainer for Health Services programs in the areas of CPR, CR/BLS, and Standard First Aid.

§         Responsible for the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteer teachers in the non-denominational Sunday School Program.

§         Responsible for implementing various calendar year programs directed at Family Worship including children’s Church ministry.

§         Responsible for coordinating and implementing the annual community wide non-denominational vacation bible school program.
