Looking For Math Treasures: An Official Web Quest

Instructions:
This is an official Web Quest. If you decide to enter the Web Quest, you may obtain feedback in two ways:
- If you are a teacher, you may send class registrations to the site manager. The site manager will send you email when your students have officially completed the Web Quest. In this manner, you may assign academic credit to those students. If you need further clarification, please contact the Web Site manager. If you are a parent and your family would like feedback, please also sign in below.
- If you are a student and would like to officially register for the Web Quest, please fill out the form hyperlinked to this document. When you have successfully completed all of the tasks in the Web Quest, you will send your answers to the Web site manager. The Web site manager will contact you through email regarding any possible errors or your certificate of completion. Print out your certificate of completion and bring it to your teacher. Print it using the economy setting on your printer. Make sure that your printer is set to the portrait setting rather than the landscape setting. If your teacher has sent a registration request, the site manager will also send email to your teacher announcing your success.

The current Web Quest is targeted toward middle school students. Soon there will be other Web Quests relating to other age and grade levels.
How Will Your Answers Be Graded?
Print out a copy of the Web Quest questions. As you locate sources, write down your answers to the questions and record carefully the URL (Web Address) where you found the answer. Please be very careful when recording your Web Address locations. If the site manager cannot find the location that you submit, your answer will not be correct.
You must also completely answer the question that is asked. Please answer the question as carefully as you can using proper spelling and grammar. Note: Some of the answers are multiple choice on the answer form.
When you are sure that you have completed the quest, you will return to this site and select the link below for the answer form. You will submit your answers on that form and submit it to the Web site master. Keep in mind that the World Wide Web is a tremendous resource. There may be many locations that offer the solution to each or any of the questions.
