The Phony
Christianity of President Bush

G. W. Bush is as much of a Christian as Osama bin Laden
is a Christian. Hitler thought the Lord was on his side.
Mussolini was a man of faith. Saddam Hussein prayed five days a
day. Church people should know that there is a simple test of
faith given by Christ Himself - that is, look at the deeds of the
person claiming to be a follower.
If they don't follow the teachings of
Christ, they are just capitalizing on their claims to be Christians.
That is the case with Bush.
If you don't believe this, look at the words of Jesus and then look at
the actions of Bush. There is no match whatsoever. None.
The life of a Christian is one dedicated to love, peace, help, charity,
hope, faith, healing, forgiveness, and helping others more than one
helps oneself. None of this, none of it at all, comes close to
the life of G. W. Bush.
Why then are there so many people who call themselves Christians in the
United States that believe that Bush is a Christian and then deceive
themselves into also believing that he cares one bit about the
commandments of Jesus Christ? The answer is propaganda. The
German propagandist Josephy Goebbels said that he could get people to
believe that a circle is a square if he just repeated the claim over
and over again.
Jesus Christ told us that there will be people who use his name that
will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He said that people will call His
name but He will tell them that He does not know them.
If so-called Christians in the United States realized that Bush is
using his pretense of being a follower to gain votes, they would see
the deception of his ways constitutes blasphemy and works more against
God than for Him. Bush has not only wiped out the credibility of
American foreign policy and the economy's surplus; he has also defamed
the cause of the Christian faith.
The Bible says that faith without works is dead. Bush has neither but
pretends to have both. Wake up believers!
