The UH-60, Black Hawk is the Army's front-line utility helicopter which replaced the UH-1 Series "Huey". These aircraft have serve as air assault, air cavalry, and aeromedical evacuation units. The US Army Aviation UH-60A/1 Black Hawk helicopter fleet was to reach their service life goal of 25 years in 2002. In order for the fleet to remain operationally effective through the time period of from 2025 to 2030, these aircraft will go through inspection, refurbishment, and modernization processes. This system's service in Desert Storm was successfully supported by Kit Pack as noted in Colin McMillan's letter of April 11, 1991 and the Certificate of Appreciation signed by Donald Williamson.
