B-1B Lancer
By Boeing
The B-1B, a multi-role, long-range bomber is capable of flying intercontinental missions without refueling. It holds several world records for speed, payload and distance. The B-1B uses radar and inertial navigation equipment which enables aircrews to globally navigate, update mission profiles and target coordinates in-flight without the need for ground based navigation aids. The aircraft's defensive avionics detects and counters enemy radar threats. Similar to the offensive avionics, the defensive suite has a re-programmable design allowing in-flight changes to be made to counter new or changing threats.
Serving as a Boeing licensee since May 1994 Kit Pack has supported this valuable weapon system by providing this panel, fuel line and antenna shield.
