The Message . . . Most citizens are not aware of the services offered to victims of crime in Doña Ana County and Las Cruces until they need these services. We are so very fortunate to possess some of the best services in the state which are operated by today's most talented, well trained, dedicated professionals in the business of advocacy.

La Piñon is just part of these services, delivering expertise in the field of sexual assault. La Piñon works closely with the Las Cruces Police Department, Doña Ana County Sheriff Office and the Third Judicial District to ensure crime victims of their rights, needed services and support.

The Mission . . . The mission of La Piñon is to provide a comprehensive array of services related to sexual assault and abuse to individuals, families and the community.

The Philosophy . . . La Piñon believes that by offering unconditional support, information and a safe environment for change, the person who has been sexually assaulted can take steps to regain control of her/his life and make the transition from victim to survivor.
