KID TALK . . .

Our new KID TALK warm line offers children someone to talk to. Call 636-3636; our volunteers are on call, waiting to help. The hours are Monday-Thursday from
3 p.m.-10 p.m. and all weekend, starting from Friday at 3 p.m.-Sunday at 10 p.m.

Do you feel you are being abused? Do you have problems that you feel you can't talk to anyone about? You may feel adults/people have let you down, and it can be hard finding someone to trust and talk to. But, you don't have to manange on your own. Reach out and let someone help you find your path to recovery.

YOU CAN REMAIN ANONYMOUS!

Some reasons children call are:

• Bullying
• Family issues--divorce, separation, etc.
• Physical abuse
• Sexual abuse
• Sexuality and facts of life
• Pregnancy
• Problems with friends, relationships
• Smoking, alcohol, and drugs

Remember, YOU NEVER ASK FOR ABUSE, AND IT IS NEVER YOUR FAULT! Please dont' suffer in silence. You are not alone--our volunteers can put you in touch with local service agencies that can offer you assistance with what you are going through.
