Extraordinary Meeting, Las Cruces Soccer Referee Association Board, October 2, 2002
Burn Lake
Present were Robert Gage, Kevin Riedel, Bill Lindemann, Rick Hendricks, and Jose Diosdado; guests in attendance were Dan Lilley and Lisa Willman
President Robert Gage called the meeting to order at 20:30 hours.
Gage went over the terms of the September 1, 200 agreement between High Noon Soccer League and LCSRA, which included the following points.
1) The referee scheduler is to be given the tournament schedule seven days before play begins
2) Subsequent changes will incur a fee of $5 per change per day
3) Coordinators are to be paid $50 per day per coordinator
4) High Noon is to provide tables and shade
5) A provision is in place to have two coordinators at High Noon as the second coordinator becomes needed
6) Arrangements for food and drink are to be agreed upon mutually by High Noon and LCSRA
Gage said it was too late to have the BOD discuss and vote on Lilley's latest proposal, which was contained in an e-mail that only a few members of the BOD received.
Dan Lilley agreed to all the term in the existing contract and promised timely delivery of the TWET check to Diosdado.
Lisa Willman stated that she would set up a pay system and provide envelopes and cash to the referee field coordinators.
Gage stated that LSCRA is going to purchase the food; Lilley stated that he would provide the money.
Lilley and Willman will settle bills presented by out-of-town referees.
Lilley stated that there would be twenty fewer games that last year.
Kevin Riedel expressed doubts about filling all the slots. After general discussion is was agreed that field marshals would fill holes as club lines.
Lilley promised that he would have game time slots and field numbers to Riedel by this Friday (4 November).
Non-TWET BOD Action
Gage reported that Rich Richins was going on hiatus and pulling his electronic game report. Gary Manley is going to revise the electronic game report, based on the current high school report, and post a link to it on LSCRA website.
The meeting adjourned at 20:57
