Noel Kaufmann
escaped last June to Santa Fe, from the bowels of the beast, the DC region. Originally from New York (Queens) he's always loved the mountains here, and though a wanderer, could possibly stay... You can keep him solvent and happy with creative free-time, by contacting him for piano tuning and repair. Noel, especially in this moment, finds himself writing less and less in the first person and more and more consistently in what he calls, with admirable succinctness, "Paragraphs: prose poetry, philosophical musings, cultural rants, absurdist slants, epigrams and innuendos." Kelly Kelsey
describes herself as "a little bit gypsy and a little bit hermit. I am interested in all forms of art."
She has been writing poetry since the age of five, and had several poems published in "The Mannings Mill Gazette,"a local newspaperÊin upstate New York. She earned an A.S.in Human Services, but while in college, took a lot of extra English/Writing courses and had several of her poems and short stories published in the Adirondack Community College Journal.

Paul Kloppenborg
works as a librarian in Melbourne, Australia. He is widely published in both print and electronic journals. Teresa Kupin,
originally from New York and Mexico, is presently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. Additionally, she is also minoring in Feminist Studies and her areas of interest focus on dual subalternities, margins and central space, and identity deconstruction.
David Kyea
has lived in Northern New Mexico for 37 years, more or less. He has worked as a cook, logger, ski lift operator, carpenter, shepherd, cowboy, adobe brick layer, cleared trails in the Pecos Wilderness and planted trees at altitudes of 10,000 feet. He worked 25+ years as a deputy sheriff, criminal investigator, deputy medical investigator and magistrate judge. He is a graduate of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy and the FBI National Academy. He dabbles in music and enjoys playing traditional New Mexico Spanish music on the guitar, mandolin, tin whistle, harmonica, violin and viola. He and

Gary Lehmann
teaches writing and poetry at the Rochester Institute of Technology. His essays, poetry and short stories are widely published -- about 60 pieces a year. He is the director of the Athenaeum Poetry group which recently published its second chapbook, Poetic Visions. has lived in northern New Mexico with her husband since 1973 and raised three children, and built three

Dimitris Lyacos
was born in Athens in 1966. His trilogy Poena Damni (Z213: Exit, Nyctivoe, The First Death) written over the course of fifteen years, has been translated into English, Spanish, Italian and German and has been performed extensively across Europe and the USA. A sound and sculpture installation of Nyctivoe opened in London and toured Europe in 2004-2005. A contemporary theatre-dance performance based on the same book showed in Greece in 2006-2007. Lyacos' work has been the subject of lectures and research at various universities, including Amsterdam,Trieste and Oxford.Various extracts from the trilogy have appeared in literary journals around the world. Translator Shorsha Sullivan was born in Dublin in 1932. He studied Classics at Leeds and has spent most of his working life in England. He has a special interest in Modern Greek theatre and poetry. (August 2008)
