        This Old Man

        This old man I know
        Leans to the left
Walks with a cane he made
        From an old Willow
And this old man I know
        Lives with his dogs
        Says his life is complete
        Yeah he makes everything grow

        And this old man says
Things are usually what they seem
The only time you're truly free
        Is when you dream

        Secret Souvenirs

His packrat ways sure fit this place
        Where years in corners hide
The wind is screaming through the screens
Feels like Dust Devils here inside
It's strange the things you think you know
        About people you hold dear
It's the drawers and doors that tell the truth
        The soul's secret souvenirs

        Fly on Home

        What Are You Gonna Do
        They've got your brother,
        Tied like Jesus
To a fence outside of town
        The cold stars looked down
        And he closed his eyes
        They said, fly, fly, fly
        Brother fly on home

        What are you gonna do
        They've got your brother
        Chained to a pickup truck
        Like a horse-train from hell
        And he tries to yell
        Don't do this thing
        The night bird sings
        She sings, fly, fly, fly
        Brother fly on home

Excerpts from "Fly on Home,""This Old Man," and "Secret Souvenir."
