Retrospect
I rarely have reason
to remember you as a monsoon of a man
a Sunday morning pancake maker
a sugar daddy to our daughters
But all too often
when IÕm in that twilight zone
Somewhere between sleep and awake
my body temperature falls
And I feel the phantom current of air
breeze over my chilled body
As you faithfully covered me
with a finely spun silk comforter
