Breeding - Mare Care Agreement and Contract

Be it known to all persons that _______________________,
who owns
a mare named _______________________, registration # ___________,
of the ___________________ breed does hereby agree to have said
mare
bred to Grunds Mr Zip, registration # X0516325, an appendix papered
quarter horse stallion, owned by C. Doyle Moore of Deming,
New
Mexico.
. The price and terms
are as follows:
The total cost is to be $ ___________ plus mare care of $
5.00 per day
for dry mares, and $ 7.50 per day
for wet mares. Mare owner will
pay a $ 100.00 booking fee, which
will be applied to the total cost of
the breeding plus a $ 5.00
stallion report fee. The total cost will be due
before mare leaves premises.
Stallion owner is an accomplished horseman,
and a capable handler.
However, mare owner understands and agrees that with horses, accidents
do sometimes happen beyond human control, so therefore stallion
owner
will not, and cannot be held liable for any or all accidents; also
New
Mexico is a non sue state for horse related businesses.
In the event of
accident or illness to mare (or foal if present), stallion owner
will call a
veterinarian for the mare owner, however stallion owner will not
be liable
for the bill.
There is a live foal guarantee, so if for
any reason your foal does not
stand, and suck, notify me within 30 days for scheduling a rebreeding.
