THE ORIGINAL STANLEY

This was one of the last pics of Stan.
He was just done at the groomers, and ready to go home!
I had to keep him from jumping off the table and running for the door.

The groomers wrote on the picture, taken 4-13-93.

THE STAN MAN

Stanley was the ultimate original bed-hog-dog.
I had a king-sized bed, and he'd cuddle up next to me,
and with his weight as much as two ripe watermelons,
I would have to move away to have room to breathe:
but he'd move tight up next to me again,
and often I'd fall off the edge of the bed and climb back in on the other side to the middle,
and here we'd go again!
