TERESA'S LASIK EYE SURGERY - page 1 of 4 about her,

and a 1999 research page, and a LASIK information website links page

SUMMARY: June 2002:

I am thrilled with my LASIK surgery. I went for monovision, so my eyes are not going to be "20/20." (For those who don't know yet, monovision is when one eye is not corrected to 20/20, but left at about 20/50; that way one can avoid wearing bifocals for years, I hope). Am 45 years old now. My vision is a little blurry, but what a thrill not having to wear contacts or spectacles, and the problems they create. I feel safer wearing my eyeglasses when driving late at night, or I wear them if I'm going to a movie or opera or play. But otherwise no need for eyeglasses. Yea!!!!

Something else I did for further ease of living, is I got tattoo eyeliner, top and bottom. It took three visits about one month apart, and now I don't have to mess with that. I have skimpy eyelashes, and now look more gorgeous in the morning, and after swimming.

In 1999 my husband, a surgeon, and I attended a Mayo Clinic meeting for their alumni, and learned the latest research info LASIK. Click here to find out about it.

Great page for links to Lasik information added onto this page.
