Mike DeMers you're in the wrong place. Still, you are free to look
around. Perhaps you will enjoy some of my interests, my photos, and for
those who have nothing better to do, my work. It's all here...

I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico with my
wife, Dolores. We've been here since 1993 when I got a new job.
I'm a geography professor at New Mexico State University. New Mexico
is a far cry from East Grand Forks, Minnesota where I was born and raised.
I've found that I particularly like not having to shovel snow. I also
like the desert and the Mountains immensely. Dolores and I spent a
great deal of time at White Sands
National Monument,
City of Rocks State Park, and Dripping Springs in the nearby
Organ
Mountains when we first got here. We visit less often now because
we're both pretty busy. Still, just knowing that they're nearby
somehow makes life more pleasant than it would be otherwise. I'll try
to share a little of this feeling with my site. Drop by any time and enjoy.
