Here are some of my non-work related interests.
- Model Paddlewheelers - Not a common sight around New
Mexico, but at the tall stacks
celebration in Cincinnati, you'll see lots of model paddlewheelers
(plus the real thing, of course). I have also managed to
purchase a few kits from Model
Expo so you might want to try them as well if this is a shared
interest.
- Movies - I love movies, but at my age I really don't enjoy
"going" to the movies. What with microwave popcorn and DVD's who
needs the hassle of gum on the shoes, tall people with taller hair who
manage to sit right in front of you, and all the rest. So, I've
been a member of Netflix since 1999 and find it a very nice way to get
my movies without having to go any further than the mailbox. If
you like movies like I do but don't like the hassle of going to the
theater try the link below. I think you'll enjoy it.
- Horror Novels - I've loved stories of the occult since I
was a kid. I used to read magazines like "Creepy," "Erie," and
"Weird." I was, until very recently, a member of the Stephen
King Library. I guess I've bought and read most of his 46 books already.
