Dolores is taking a brief rest after scurrying around the City of Rocks State Park. It is late Autumn, 2006.
This is on the east side of the house. The deck should make for a great view of the Organ Mountains.
The waterfall is made almost entirely of sandstone flagstore veneer, as is the front of the banco (bench). The facade of the banco was put in almost entirely by me and Dolores. The top of the banco is engineered sandstone flagstone.
This shows the Italian tile, two blue chairs from Copenhagen Furnature and an artwork specifically commissioned for the south wall (called Gaea Dreams) (it was computer generated).
This gives a good perspective view of the house. Most of the work is going on inside rather than outside now. We hope to move in within a couple of weeks (around mid-November). Some of the outside work will still need to be completed.
Our first house in Upper Arlington (1986-1993). Notice Pepper at the end of the sidewalk preparing to greet our neighbors.
From left to right, Michael, Crystal, Robert, Linda (Little) DeMers, Marc, James, Jennifer (DeMers) McGunnigle, Dennis, Kari (DeMers) Zavoral, Linda (Stocker) DeMers, Tressa and Tyler in front. Thanks to Daniel King for taking this photo.

This was in 1980 during my MS graduation from UND I think.
The Jornada LTER was developed by Dr. Whitford. Here I'm learning about the ecological conditions fron the master.
Although both are now gone our memories of these two characters are still pretty strong.
The rocks behind Dolores are composed of volcanic tuff and there's lots moe at the park.
