Tour of Las Vegas, NV

[Day One] [Evening One] [Day Two] [Evening Two] [Day Three] [Evening Three] [Day Four]

We could see the Luxor, our hotel, from the airport.

Our room was on the 19th floor. There were 30 floors in all at this pyramid shaped hotel. 27 of the floors had a walkway that looked down into the entertainment mezzanine.

Our room was beautifully furnished with a great view of the city.

Authentic Egyptian decor was everywhere in the hotel.

We were amazed by the architecture and the attention that was given to every detail.

Even the area leading to the buffet was filled with decorations that simulated a archeologist's dig.

The hotel has a small museum that replicates exactly the three antechambers of King Tut's tomb just as they looked when archeologist Carter found them.

The exterior of the hotel was just as breath taking as the interior.

These delightful creatures were found wandering in the gardens and playing near the pool of the Hilton Flamingo Hotel.
