The LBJ National Historical Park is in the Johnson City District. This house was LBJ's boyhood home from age 5 till his marriage at 26 years. |
This is his grandfather's dog-trot cabin built in 1867. |
The Saturday that we visited happened to be Heritage Days. Many docents and volunteers dresses at pioneers and talked about life in Johnson City during the later 1800's and early 1900's. |
