Saving Clip Art To A File Name

Or
How to take an image from clip art 
and convert it to a graphic 
that can be used as a "picture file" in Word Art in Power Point

Open PowerPoint
Open your Presentation
Select Insert
Choose Picture from ClipArt
Choose one Image and Insert it into your Presentation


While it is still selected go to File
And select Copy



Now open up Paint
(Start-Programs-Accessories-Paint)
Go to Edit and Select Paste

Now you are ready to give this clip art a name and place it in a folder on your computer.

Go to File
Select Save
Now type in a name for the clip art 
and choose the location where you want to keep this clip art

Click on Save and then Exit Paint



Now open Microsoft Photo Editor
(Start-Programs-Microsoft Photo Editor)
Open your saved image

Using the Select Tool, select just the part of the image that you want. 
In this case cropping out all of the white space


Go to Image, Select Crop, Click OK
And Save.



Exit Microsoft Photo Editor

Return to PowerPoint
Select Word Art
(Insert-Picture-WordArt)

Choose the Upper Left Word Art with the open letters

Type in your words

And Click OK


While the words are still selected go down to the paint bucket and click on the "down arrow". 
Choose Fill Effects.

Choose the tab that is labeled Picture
Click on the button that is labeled Select Picture …

Select your Clip Art image

And click OK

Click OK again.

Resize you Word Art to fit your page
