    1. Put your friend’s floppy disk in the drive.
    2. Double click on ‘my computer’.

    3. Double click on ‘floppy A'

    4. Click and hold on the file that you wish to transfer and drag it to the desktop and drop it. (Let's say it is the file called sunset)
    5. A window will appear showing the file is being copied.

    6. When it is done, you will see the file on your desktop. Now remove your friend’s floppy disk.
    7. Put in your own floppy disk.
    8. If the 'floppy A' box is still on the desktop touch the 'F5' key (a function key at the top of the keyboard), this will refresh the window and show your floppy drive.
    9. Or just double click on ‘my computer’, and then double click on 'floppy A'.
    10. Click on the icon for the file you want to transfer and drag it onto the icon for ‘floppy A:’ and release.
    11. The file is now copied onto your floppy.
