In order to run disc scan and defrag your
hard drive
your screen saver must be temporarily turned
off!!
Right click on your desktop
From the Pop-up menu select Properties
Select the Screen Saver Tab
Change it from your current screen saver to None.
Now proceed to the instructions on how to
run Disc Scan.
