Creating Tables in Word

Open a Word Document
From the menu tool bar
Select Table –> Insert –> Table

Choose the number of columns and rows you would like in your table.
This table will have 5 columns and 2 rows.

To add additional rows to your table, click in the last cell and then hit the Tab key.



To change table properties:
Place your cursor inside the table, 
Right click , from the pop-up menu select Table Properties


From here you can choose many different attributes for your table.
