Begin at the Start Menu
Go to Programs
Then select Microsoft PowerPoint
Choose a blank presentation if you are making a new one

Or choose an existing presentation
if you are working on one that you have already started

Select the “Blank” page

Go to the Menu Bar and Click on Insert
Select Picture

From File
Go to the 3-½ inch Floppy
Select the image that you want to use.
It will be displayed in the preview mode.
Click OK

To move the picture, place the cursor in the middle on the picture.
When you see the compass rose, -  -
click on it and hold. Now move your picture to the new location.

To resize your picture, click on the picture once.
You will see small squares in each corner and on each side.
If you select the sides and get a double pointed arrow you can stretch or shrink your picture thinner, wider, taller shorter.

If you want all of your pictures the same size, right click on the picture, Format Picture. Select Size

And set the picture to the size you want.
If you select one of the corners, and see a diagonal double pointed arrow, you can stretch and shrink your picture and the proportions will stay the same with no distortion.

To insert a text box, go to Insert, select Text Box
Your mouse will now look like an upside down cross.
Click your mouse when you want your text to appear.
Change the size of the font from 24 to at least 40.

If your test box is going to stretch off the page, just grab one of the lower corners and resize the box.
