My love for stained glass started a long time ago, while growing up in Holland. A lot of the older homes and even apartment buildings have beautiful stained glass windows. Of course living in Holland for the first part of my life, you can't miss going to Paris and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Sacre Coeur with their famous stained glass windows.

When the time and opportunity presented itself, a class advertised by the Dona Ana Branch caught my eye, and I decided to take it.

That was more than 8 years ago and I have been happily involved making leaded stained glass ever since. Recently ( 2 years ago) I bought a kiln and started including fused glass details in my panels and then came to the conclusion that it would be fun to make fused glass jewelry, which also proved to be very rewarding.

I now permanently display and sell my leaded stained glass and fused glass art jewelry at the Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery in Mesilla and at the Emerald Isle Boutique and Gallery in Mesilla, N.M. and also sell my jewelry at Linda Lundeen Inn of the Arts in Las Cruces.
