A native Texan, who has lived in El Paso most of her life and works primarily in oils as a landscape painter. The love of art has been a constant passion as long as I can remember. I retired in 1989 to pre sue my love of art. Through my paintings I love to show how God and nature inspire us with vibrant and dancing colors, bringing life to the most common objects.
She has exhibited regularly in both group and juried shows, served as Chairperson for El Paso Art Association, Spring Show, Sierra-Providence/El Paso Art Association International Exhibits, El Paso Art Association Border II Show, Providence Memorial Hospital Founder's Hall and Providence Memorial Hospital Women's Department, Second place in Las Cruces Arts & Crafts Exhibition, Guaranteed Purchase Award, El Paso Art Association/Sierra-Providence Exhibit, Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Exhibition, Second place in the National League of American Pen Women, Second place in KCOS Public TV Collection 13, Honorable mention in the Sun Bowl International Art Exhibit.
She is a past Membership Director-four years for the El Paso Art Association and past President and Secretary-four years of the Border Branch of the National League of the American Pen Women, Inc., past Chairperson-four years at the State level, NLAPW, Inc.
She is presently exhibiting at Mesilla Valley Fine Arts, Inc. in Mesilla, NM and Studio Space in Silver City, NM. Her works are also in North America and Europe.
