Fishing Club Waters
- All adults fishing any of the club waters

- Club members must wear their MVFF

should keep the permit stub while fishing.
- The Fishing Access Permit grants permission
to fish only the Runyan section of water.
- The Fishing Access Permit is valid for only

Catch and Release Tips
Note: The following tips are adapted from the NM Dept. of
Game & Fish fishing proclamation.
Land the fish quickly; don't play it to exhaustion.
Use a landing net whenever possible.
Keep the fish in the water.
Do not squeeze or grab any part of the fish. Wet your hands
first if you must handle the fish.
Gently remove the hook.
If the hook is deeply swallowed, cut the leader. A fish's
body fluids will dissolve the hook in days.
Let a tired fish recover. Hold it by the tail in the water
with one hand and use the other hand to gently support it from below and just behind the
head until it swims away.
Never toss a fish back into the water.
