John Beakley, WK5C, Brad Sacca, KC5SKE and Sid Goddard, KD5SSA recently installed our
antenna for the 146.76 repeater on Caballo Mountain. This is a view of the new Caballo 120' tower. On the top is the county
wide-band receive. On the left (south) is the county wide-band transmit at
the 60' level. To its right is the MVRC DB-224E which was moved from the
old 50' Rohn-25 tower.
The business meeting is the FIRST SATURDAY of each month (except July) at 9:00 AM at the MVRC clubouse at Wilt and Jefferson. Breakfast at 8:00 AM. The Bataan Death March is March 30. Contact KD5OHA, 575 525 1966. The BEAN FEED is April 27, at the clubhouse.

The MVRC Clubhouse is at the intersection of Wilt and Jefferson in Hacienda Heights. To find the clubhouse, set your destination on your GPS receiver as 32 degrees 22.961 minutes and -106 degrees 41.44 minutes. In UTM coordinates, that's 13 S 0340959, 3583923. Drive out Hwy 70 (North Main) towards Alamogordo. Get off 70 at the Porter Road Exit. Head south, turn left on Cortez. Turn right on Wilt. Drive south to Jefferson.
