Religious Education
Religious Education Program Restructured
Beginning with the new calendar year 2008, we will be restructuring our religious education program. We will no longer be using the Catechesis of the Good Sheperd. We will initiate a new program recommended by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
We therefore will suspend our religious education classes
(except First Communion, Pre-Confirmation & Confirmation)
until further notice. In the meantime, all religious education teachers and aides will attend workshops to prepare for the new program.
We need more people to volunteer as teachers and aides. I especially call on our retired teachers, parents and others who are serious about "Handing on the Faith".
Presently I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the teachers who have instructed our children through the Catechesis of the Good Sheperd. Your dedication to this program has been exemplary on so many different levels.
