New Mexico ASA: Adult Program
Tournaments and Classifications Changes

There is no longer Regional or National Qualifiers Tournaments in the adult ASA program. Teams will advance direct from State to the National Tournament. AllTeams will be allowed to classify themselves UNLESS moved up by the ASA National Code. If a NM ASA Team questions your classification then you record and tournament play will be looked at and your team could possible be moved up.
- Deadline to register your team is July 15th of the current year.
- If State Tournament is prior to this date then you team must be registered two weeks prior to the tournament.
- Each Adult team is allowed 3 pick-up players, from within the State, to participate in Championship Play.
- Adult teams may have players from anywhere in the USA.
- The State a team may participate in is determined by where the most players on said team reside.
- To register your team go to registrations and click on Adults and fill out the form and send to your District Commissioner or State Commissioner with your $35 registration fee. If you chose you can pay your registration fee through Pay Pal.

- ASA Rosters can be printed off at www.adultsoftball.net.
- Your Rosters at Championship Play MUST BE FILLED OUT CORRECTLY or you will not be allowed to participate. This means EVERYONES name and SIGNATURE as well as the coach and all info require for him/her.
- Travel Permits are NO LONGER required when leaving the State to play in another tournament.
- Under Classification you will see the National Restricted List of Slow Pitch and Fast Pitch players. They should not be at any tournament other than A or Major.
- There will be District Tournaments for Church Co-Ed and any team wanting to advance to a National Tournament that NM ASA is not holding a State Tournament for can contact the State Office for permission to attend.
- You can check out ASA Tournaments being held in New Mexico by going to the web site www.adultsoftball.net . Put the date in, scroll to the bottom and put in New Mexico and hit click. Tournaments throughout the State will come up.
- You can enter any NM Tournament listed at that site.
- You can enter State Tournaments at that site and use Pay Pal to pay your entry fee, but ONLY FOR STATE or NATIONAL QUALIFIERS TOURNAMENTS…NOT INVITATIONALS OR DISTRICTS.
