INDIVIDUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION HERE TO STAY.
WHY:

It is cost
efficient
-
ASA is the
National Governing Body of Softball (the NGB)
all
other NGB, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball etc. do
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS.

Provides FREE
insurance to players/coaches.
-
Provides them
with player card January –December 31 of current year.
-
Less
documentation to take to tournaments.
-
Covers you even
when you play with a different organization. NO need for two insurance coverage
WHAT’S
THE COST? (Cost below is WITHOUT photo ID)
1.
$12 Per player
2.
ALL coaches must also register at $14
3.
All coaches MUST fill in the information for the Back Ground Check
and send
It along
with their invoice to Joe Thomas ASA Junior Olympic State Commissioner
4.
Prior to walking on the filed with a team the BGC MUST HAVE BEEN
DONE
5.
NO Player or Coach will be allowed on the field for Championship
Play without
Their
ASA individual card.
6.
The coach will have 14 days from the time the invoice is printed to
send it along with the payment or the team will be declined. Once
declined to register you will have to go through the entire process
again.
7.
For Championship Play coaches and any personal in the dugout will be
provided with chain to have VTD Coaches Card worn at all times during
play.
