570 Hour Herbal Medicine Program
HERBAL MEDICINE PROGRAM:

The New Mexico College of Natural Healing's Herbal Medicine Program is dedicated to bringing about the understanding, preservation, and the knowledgeable use of Plant Medicines through first hand experience. Herbal Medicine is an Oral Tradition dating back to the dawn of man, and is rooted in one's individual relationship to the Natural World of Plant Medicines. The Herbal Medicine Program is presented as a real life, natural world, hands-on experience that teaches about freedom, nurturing your creative and intuitive self, stewardship of the environment, and the importance of following one's dreams. Each and every student in this program has the opportunity to become part of this Ancient Oral Tradition, to help preserve it, to help build upon it, to become part of the Herbal Time Line and make it their own. The Herbal Medicine Program has been designed as a 500 " + " hour program to honor the Ancient Oral Tradition. When the clock or the sun says, "Time is up!", it may not be the end of class, particularly if you are at a campfire in the field, working with a client in the Herb Store or completing an Herbal tincture.
