| Massage Therapy Opportunities: |
| A massage therapist
in private practice earns from $35.00 to $85.00 per one hour session.
A four to five session per day work load is common. A massage therapist may work as a chiropractic assistant doing pre-adjustments body work to prepare the patient for chiropractic adjustments. Post Adjustment massage may also be done to stabilize adjustments. Physical therapists, health spas, hot springs, cruise ships, resorts, and large exclusive hotels throughout the world employ qualified massage therapists. Hospital and other medical facilitites frequently hire massage therapists. Teaching mentors and mentorships/massage schools, CE classes. Video production and the sale of massage products are both massage therapy related fields of employment. The field of massage therapy has a great deal of support products for production and distribution. With experience, a graduate may feel drawn to this form of employment. |
| Herbology and Herbal Medicine Opportunities: |
| Graduates may own and/or operate
an herb store dispensing herbs, herbteas, and tinctures for customer's
various health and nutritional needs. One may produce herbal products for wholesale or retail. This may include tinctures, teas, salves, creams, lotions, shampoo, hair tonics and conditioners, douches, colon cleansers, cosmetics, and massage products. One's creativitiy is the limit. Gowing herbs for wholesale, retail, or internet sales. Wild crafting herbs for wholesale, retail, or internet sales. Teaching classes on herbs, herbology, herbs as alternative complimentary medicine, and also conducting herb walks teaching about herbs in the wild. |
