As an entomologist, one of Dr. Mayse's primary areas of interest is what might be termed the pest control method of the future. Known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM), it is the study of beneficial insects and other means of biological control in concert with conventional use of pesticides. IPM, as Dr. Mayse explains, not only reduces pesticide expenditures for the farmer, but also balances the need for pest control, along with protection for the environment.

E.T. Kornegay is a world-renowned authority on swine nutrition and management. He has authored 683 articles and papers, and has done consulting work in virtually every country in which swine are raised.
Stephen C. Mason Ph.D.

Dr. Mason is a U.S. trained agronomist with substantial overseas experience. He has worked in country in the Caribbean Basin and South America. Currently at the Univ. of Nebraska, he is concurrently involved in a project in West Africa. Previously, he was on the staff of Purdue, working in the area of international agriculture.

Dr. Thomas is a professor of sheep production and animal nutrition at MSU.  Prior to that he taught sheep production at the Univ. of Idaho. A native of Oregon, he obtained his BS at Oregon State Univ., and a Ph.D at Purdue.
