We mourn the loss of our beloved John Green. Though a man of few words, John was always the voice of reason, keeping our feet grounded when we reached at wild ideas.  John seemed to make sense no matter what he said.  He was witty, with a dry, but humorous sarcasm that was rarely lost on any one of us.  He was our Fire Marshal for as long as anybody on the Dept. can remember.   We will miss him dearly.  God's Speed John

    

 At our 2004 Christmas party, we had the unveiling of our memorial to John Green.  This memorial consists of items that were near and dear to John.  Thanks to firefighter Jonathan Sparks for designing and building this beautiful tribute.
