I called you all out of Egypt
To the Promised Land,
But some of you aren’t gonna make it
You’re walking in sinking sand.
I’ve shown you My power,
I’ve shown you My mercy and grace.
I’ve made myself your shelter and your tower
And you’ve thrown it in My face.
I’ve fed you, loved you, given you Myself.
You’ve mumbled and you’ve grumbled
And you’ve thought about yourself
There’s coming a time and it’s coming soon
When you’ll be singing a different tune. |
I’ve waited and I’ve waited
I’ve watched you and I’ve hated
All the things that you say and do.
You say you know Me and you love Me,
But that’s not what I see, I see
You turning away so easily
You just won’t look at Me.
You despise My Holy Word,
And forget all that you’ve heard.
Don’t take
Another lap around the Desert
Another few years or so
Another chance to listen to Me,
