Father, help me every day,
To be ready to meet you and say,
“My Father, I’ve done my very best
With all You’ve given to me.”
Father, help me to run my race,
Faithful and true to You.
Father, help me to be in my place,
The place You have ordained for me.
Father, help me to rest in Your grace,
While you purify and make me like You.
Father, someday I’ll see Your face,
Help me not to be ashamed.
Father How can you love me so much?
Knowing how weak I really am?
Father, how I love your touch,
Cleansing, healing is Your love. |
Father, there’s no place I can go,
That You won’t be right by my side.
Father, hold me in Your arms,
Such as I am, I’m Yours.
Father, I hurt the ones I love.
What can You ever do with me?
“I’ll give you My love from above.
You’ll see, child, how my spirit sets you free.”
Father, break me and make me Yours.
Let Your will be done in me.
Father, I haven’t much to give,
Please make me all I can be.
Father, I want to hear You say:
“Well done, good and faithful one!”
But Father, so many things get in my way.
“Precious child, that’s why I sent My Son.
