1. I was just reading in Your Word,
The part about denying ourselves,
Giving up everything to follow You-
Don’t you think that’s a little harsh

4. You know, I’ve had a hard life, Lord
There are so many things that I can’t do.
Do You really expect me to overcome,
And to someday be like You?

Couldn’t You give us an easier way
To follow You each day?

In the world we live in today?
