According to Your loving-kindness.

According to the greatness of your mercy.

Create in me a clean heart, O
God,
And renew a steadfast spirit in me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
Or take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Cover my sin with the blood,
Wash me and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know against You have I sinned,
You are just when You speak,
and blameless when You judge. |
Restore me to the joy of your
salvation,
And uphold me by your mighty Spirit.
Deliver me from my sins, O God,
Oh God, the God of my salvation. |
You desire truth within my heart,
And within my heart You will make me wise.
Purge me and I shall be clean,
Wash me, I shall be whiter than snow.

Then my tongue shall sing of Your
righteousness,
Oh Lord, open my lips, I will praise Your name.
You do not desire sacrifice,
Or Lord, I surely would give it. |
Make me to hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all of my inequities. |
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and contrite heart.
These, O God, You will not despise,
