Build your own breech-loaded thermodynamic air/fuel vapor cannon which uses starting fluid as a propellant and has electronic ignition. Plans include the construction of the PVC cannon, mounting system with crank operated elevation adjustment, and details of casting cement or plaster cannonballs. This device is not a toy but is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
This
device utilizes a unique burst disc system which allows peak
pressure build-up for imparting maximum energy to the
projectile.
It
will fire a 2 inch diameter cement or plaster cannonball
with muzzle velocities in excess of 300 ft/s.
