The Salopek Family is a swimming family! Everybody is into competitive swimming.   Marion is the NMMS Secretary and Newsletter Editor. Dave is a former collegiate champion at NMSU.  Besides being top-ten swimmers, they have hosted meets, coached age group swimmers, participated at 1998 USMS National Championships and are active triathletes! Both of their children swim for Las Cruces Aquatic Team.
